Apply to join the Land's End-John o' Groats Association.
Anyone who has completed the journey From Land's End to John o' Groats in either direction, by whatever means of transport is eligible for membership of the Association. You will have to have completed your trip as a single journey no matter how long that takes and you will be asked to provide evidence of a properly completed trip which could be in the form of a diary or log book with signatures from anyone who has witnessed your trip. Many places, garages, post offices etc have a date stamp and will be happy to stamp and sign your log. Other acceptable forms are accommodation receipts or similar which show where you were at any particular time and date.
So how much is membership?
Full adult membership costs £15 per annum plus a one off £5 joining fee
Junior membership (under 18yrs) costs £10 per annum plus a one off £5 joining fee
Family membership. Will depend on how many apply but will ensure a saving on you all joining individually. Please contact the Membership Secretary for details.
Associate membership costs £15 per annum plus a one off £5 joining fee. You can join as an associate member for a maximum of two years if you are planning a trip. You will receive many of the benefits of a full member including copies of our magazine Quo Vadis? and an invitation to the social events. You will not however be eligible for election to the committee or be allowed a vote at the AGM. Please contact the Membership Secretary for further details. Once you have completed your journey membership can be instantly upgraded (subject to evidence of journey being provided) at no additional cost.
The £5 joining fee applies to all classes of membership it is a one off and in subsequent years only the stated membership fee will apply for renewal.
